Ever since I was a young girl…

…I’ve been enamored with two things: great writing and great design. When I wasn’t losing myself in one of my mom’s Dale Chihuly coffee table books or Architectural Digest issues, I was writing essays and hounding my classmates for quotes for our middle-school newspaper.

I went on to earn a degree in journalism and found a copywriting business that took off (which I still run to this day). All the while, while I was writing for female business owners by day, I was rearranging, painting and remodeling my home by night.

I constantly had neighbors asking me about our kitchen remodel, friends asking for home-organization help, moms on playdates wanting design-advice for their nursery, and family asking me where in the world I found our gorgeous laundry-room cement tiles and asking if I could source something similar for them.

I finally realized…

…that what came naturally to me—looking at a space and immediately seeing opportunities to make it more beautiful—wasn't something other people often loved to do for themselves.

And as more people in my life leaned on my design eye as they purchased new homes or redesigned their current one, I had a bit of an epiphany (in between making snacks and troubleshooting my infant’s midnight wakings): I needed to found another business. This time, not one where I wrote other people’s stories on paper (or more accurately, on a screen) but where I wrote their stories all over their home. Ah-freaking-hah.

I particularly love creating gallery walls…

…because it’s the perfect intersection of my two passions: strategic storytelling and striking aesthetics. I have a knack for listening to what someone has to say and knowing how to mine for the gems, give the important plot points their proper due, and ultimately curate a cohesive, nuanced piece out of a mountain of seemingly unrelated details.

I spent over 14 years doing that in writing as an award-winning copywriter. And now, getting to do that in a visual format for homeowners like you energizes and excites me like nothing else.

TLDR: I live for intriguing stories. I love beautiful spaces. I know you have the former, and I want to help you turn it into the latter.
